"Explode?" The statement made Maji laugh out loud, a deep from his core kind of a laugh. Although he knew what the other cub meant when he said that the prey would 'explode', saying it like that made the older cub think of gazelle running around, popping like balloons if they touched anything soft. Two males going at it, they charge each other with their horns, only to immediate pop out of existence, almost deflating rapidly or poofing into small scraps in an instant. Something about imagining the animals of the savannah as balloons just really tickled his funny bone. But rather than try to explain his bizarre train of thought, Maji just casually waved Bakari off, quieting down again after a moment. "I've heard that too, not worded in that way but the concept is the same. Without us, the land would be over populated with gazelle and zebras and such. They'd eat all of the grass and the trees in the world, until there is nothing left and they all starve..."
Maji paused, that distant look in his blue eyes again as he organized his thoughts. He had a lot that he wanted to say, but something stopped him and he had to look away to regain his composure. He flicked an ear as a fly came over to say hello. Maji took a moment to watch the small black creature buzz around. It floated over his head and then seemed to move on, not interested in anything that the young lion had to offer. It was a welcome distraction from his current train of thought.
"But what about us?" He started, speaking softly, his insecurity about the subject showing in his verbiage. "What stops us from eating all of the gazelle and all of the zebras? Once you kill everything... you're just as miserable as you would be if we predators didn't hunt anything... you know? Does that make sense?"
Eventually, the tan cub shrugged nonchalantly, though anyone with a keen eye could see the troubled look in his eye. He followed Sarabi into the shade, even as Moto chased after her, grabbing her tail in his mouth and tugging, only to be literally dragged in the nearby grove of trees. He seemed oblivious to the conversation at hand. Attacking Sarabi's tail was just more fun. Maji however sat right in front of Sarabi, engrossed in her words, in her mention of Scar. Maji didn't know anything about the previous king, other than the fact that everyone thought he was crooked and cruel. It made sense that someone so wicked and entitled would do something like over-hunting. But Maji blinked, still on the other side of the conversation.
"But Saba, how do we know that we are not over-hunting? It seems like something we would not notice until it is too late, there's no like... rules or specifics about it. You just hunt until you're not hungry anymore right? So how can you tell you're not over doing it, and if we do over do it, how do you fix it? Should we... sacrifice others, kill them so that they can become the grass that will bring the herds back?"
Pausing, Maji shook his head, his ears bouncing where they were mounted on the side of his head.
"It's all so confusing... Circle of Life. What if you drown? Grass doesn't grow under water. Are you just... eaten by fish and that's kind of... it?"

So absorbed in his victory, it took a moment for Moto to come down off of his high horse and actually turn around and listen to his elder. He was notorious for that. Maji was the calm, quiet and down to earth cub, whereas Moto was far loftier, more confident, more self-absorbed with an absolutely shit eating grin on his face. But as Sarabi explained the rules of the hunt, Moto slowly went from overzealous cub to a suddenly quiet almost starstruck little baby. He looked up at the lioness with wide eyes, his imagination going wild as he thought of all of the different ways that a big strong male lion could take down even the biggest prey. His mind showed visions of lions tackling a giraffe to the ground or stealing a baby elephant from its mother, hell what was stopping him from taking down the full grown elephant as well! If Sarabi was right, that going for the throat or nose was key, then in theory, he felt like that was the secret to killing everything.
But she made a good point, that respecting the prey was important, not letting them suffer, not letting them rot. Moto didn't care much for the Circle of Life stuff that really floated around the Pridelands. But it made sense to him not to let prey suffer or experience pain, their sacrifice was needed and was noble of them, their death was a gift to the pride and they returned the favor when they died and became the grass that the exact same prey animals would then eat and enjoy. It all made sense to him and he nodded vigorously. Maji on the other hand, went from slightly bored to intrigued to skeptical over the course of a minute or two. Something about the conversation was not sitting right with him and he cocked his head to the side briefly, lowering his hind end to the ground in a goofy sitting position, his legs straight and his pawpads exposed. He blinked his blue eyes.
"Suffer? We're killing them, ending their lives, leaving their families to miss them and stuff when they are gone, why does it matter if they suffer? We all suffer..."
The cub trailed off, suddenly looking away for a moment and taking a deep breath. Moto noticed his brother's sudden unrest immediately, and he was probably the only lion who knew what Maji had gone through, who knew where his scars came from. He tore away his attention to Sarabi just long enough to back up and sit supportively next to his brother, shoulders touching supportively and beaming his brother a toothy smile when the smaller tan male looked up at his larger brother.
"It's all about the Circle of Life man." Moto butted in with a broad gesture with his paw, as though tracing the circle in the air in front of him. "The meat we get from the animals we hunt are a gift, I think. They're like... 'yeah we're dead but at least you aren't'.... you know? They sometimes volunteer to be eaten, to feed the royal family, they deserve at least something in return, right?"
Still quiet and stuck in that dark place in his mind, Maji only looked up when another voice joined them at the edge of the falls. Both he and Moto looked over at the smaller cub. He was pretty recognizable. His pelt was a weird almost slightly yellow shade of brown and his skull was topped with a curly kind of wavy type hair that no doubt would become the little man's mane once he grew up a bit more. Engrossed in their new arrival, Moto yelped when his momentary distraction cost him his dignity. The waters of the falls were pretty shallow and though he was completely soaked by the waves and pretty gentle rapids, his usually spikey mane falling flat against his neck, weighed down by the water. He was completely drenched but he just stood up and walked back onto dry land, the shallow water just a smidge higher than his chest, somewhere around elbow level. At first he was a little shell shocked but then that shit eating grin returned and immediately forgetting the new comer, Moto chased after the lioness, laughing fondly and looking determined, leaping for her again. But he had no tact, he just ran up and tried to jump on her from the front, where his moves were obvious and telegraphed. His first attack missed, his paws hitting nothing but air. But he turned and tried again, laughing.
"I'm going to get you for that!" He shouted, laughing playfully.
As Moto and Sarabi romped around a bit, Maji looked to the newcomer, the brown cub with the wavy head of hair. He gave the younger male a brief once over, trying to figure him out. Maji was a smart little lion, too smart for his own good really. But he could not get a good read on the new guy, who Sarabi had outed as being named Bakari. They had not really met before this, but they'd definitely seen each other in passing, he knew that the little guy was not native to the Pridelands because of his weird coloration but he wasn't from the Pridelands either so who was he to judge? He offered the timid cub and warm smile, trying to be friendly.
"Sorry... Probably shouldn't be talking about killing and violence right now huh?" He paused, shifting his weight to be more comfortable. "I'm Maji. That's my brother Moto. He's an idiot, don't ever do what he says, he'll march you right over a cliff if you let him."
He paused, laughing softly.
"Well maybe not off of a cliff but he is really dumb, you'll probably end up someplace with snow and humans and stuff, take what he says with a grain of salt."

One the outskirts of the grove, grass and ferns rustled noisily, branches breaking and twigs snapping, dead leaves crunching and a pretty frequent whisper of curse words and complaints of pain. The noises followed the older lioness as she made her way around the clearing where the falls came to life, trailing her like the nosiest shadow in the world. Some smaller and younger animals- a small herd of gazelle, a lone zebra, and a family of warthogs- seemed unnerved by the disturbance and fled, while other more experienced animals raised their heads from the water curiously but only ended up laughing and chuckling, not running. It did not take a rocket scientist to know that the noises were no threat. If anyway it was just entertaining.
The whirlwind of sound followed the king's mother until she bowed her head for a drink. The noises stopped right behind where she was crouched.
"Shhhh!" A voice sounded softly, light and airy. "She'll hear you..."
There was some more rustling and that same voice whispered a light 'ouch' as a few more branches snapped. Animals with keen eyes could see the oversized paws of cubs just barely peeking out of the shadows of a large bush. After a moment, they retreated into the darkness of the dense foliage, but as the ferns continued to rustle, it was clear that the game was still a foot. There was a noise, something of a raspberry.
"Pffft. You're the one who keeps saying 'ow', just shut up and watch me get her."
The rustling seemed to slow and then stop, an eerie silence wafting over the brilliant green ferns and the soft but small berry bushes. Only the wind rustled them now, a gentle breeze, cool and smelling of seawater, a low pressure system wafting in from the coast. It was brilliant and relaxing, toying with the ears and fur of all of the animals there to escape the heat. Some laughed, some simply closed their eyes in bliss. It was a beautiful calm moment.
And then the underbrush exploded. A red flash leapt from the shadows, tearing off leaves and branches as it charged straight for Sarabi. It was hard to see what it was at first, moving so erratically, like some kind of assassin, a secret agent. But it only moved a few feet before almost immediately tiring and revealing that of course, it was just an idiot cub. Moto, specifically. He ran to Sarabi and immediately jumped on her, pretending to bite her neck, his paw on her head, mushing her forehead. He shook the loose skin that he managed to grab in his mouth, not even penetrating it with his tiny baby teeth. Branches and debris littered his beautiful red coat and his even more intense colored mane, as though he'd been in a fight with the leavings of a lawn mower, he was absolutely filthy. Shortly afterward, his brother Maji appeared from the bushes, though his approach was casual since Moto had given away their position. So he just walked over to his brother and the pride's resident grandmother, also looking worse for wear with brambles and twigs covering his tan coat.
"Aaaaaand break the spine!" Moto yelled, his words a little muffled by the skin in his mouth. He let go and allowed himself to slide off of the lioness' back to the ground, looking as smug as can be. "I got you Saba, haha! The mighty hunter wins again!"
Maji rolled his brilliant blue eyes.
"She just let you catch her, you moron. You were as loud as can be in the underbrush, she probably knew that we were following her miles ago. Besides, you can't break spines, they are really tough. You're supposed to go for the throat... right Saba?"

Post by Moto and Maji on Dec 19, 2020 16:38:10 GMT
MAJI the basics Name • Maji ("water" in Swahili) Nicknames • None really, Maji is short enough Age • Cub Gender • Male Sexuality • Too young to know for sure Pride/Pack • Pridelands Alliance • ends up on Team ZZira Position • Too young to know for sure Other • Both he and his brother are Aries, despite having completely different personalities. Maji is on the quieter end of the spectrum, he absolutely displays the passion and determination of his sign, but he is more introverted and nervous, his mind often distracting him with memories of the past, he and his brother both are also really competitive and are constantly trying to one up each other, all in good fun of course • A follower not a leader, Maji would follow his brother Moto to the grave, he's a bit too skittish to do any actual leading himself • Calmer and more patient than his sibling, Maji is an excellent hunter who is smart enough to go for smaller more vulnerable types of prey, giving him much more success than Moto who has eyes that are bigger than his stomach • Has a noticeable but undiagnosed panic disorder, he's nervous all of the time and has trouble getting out of his own way, when panicking he often stims simultaneously- spinning in circles, pacing restlessly, stuttering, and covering his eyes with his paws, he finds the darkness soothing the appearance Species • African Lion Eye Colour • Deep Blue Markings & Scars • Has painfully obvious scarring on his hindlegs marked by long crooked claw marks, has a few smaller ones further up his torso Height • Average Weight • Average Voice Actor • Keith Mitchell as Young TodBasic Appearance • Smaller and a little more dainty than his brother, Maji is generally considered to be a cute cub who promises to grow up into a healthy, and handsome, young man. His body is light-weight and lean, he has a smaller frame than most lions but that does not appear to be affecting his size too much, as he is still the same height as most cubs his age, just slightly shorter than his brother Moto. No matter how much weight he puts on, he never seems to lose his angular appearance, the points of his pelvis and a number of ribs always showing through his skin, despite being a relatively healthy weight. He just seems to be designed to be slender, it doesn't bother him at all, in fact he uses it to his advantage- small size means he's light-weight and super fast and agile. What he lacks in brute strength, he makes up for with his intelligence and his determination. His coat is a beautiful golden brown with lighter highlights on his toes, muzzle, neck and underside. He sports a little more hair than most of his peers do, sporting tufts of dark hair on his elbows even despite his young age. He also has a tuft of hair on his head that promises to grow into an incredible mane. His head tuft is brown, just like his elbow hair and his tail tip, however the hair on his head is a noticeably lighter shade of brown compared to the rest of him, promising a nice two-toned mane for him once he's old enough to grow one. His eyes are a brilliant but somewhat subdued shade of blue, big and circular and very expressive, Maji cannot tell lies because his body language always makes it obvious that he is doing so. His claws are small and black in color, always somewhat visible even when he is not using them. His nose and muzzle bridge are also darkly colored. the personality Personality • Though they share the same birthday and were born only minutes apart from one another, Maji is nothing like his younger brother Moto. Where the red lion is loud and boisterous, Maji is quiet and reserved, often avoiding others and letting his brother lead the way in social situations, often keeping his distance and trying to keep his brain from imploding. He suffers from both PTSD and some kind of panic disorder, he has frequent nightmares that are always simply horrifying and it means that his sleep is restless and often interrupted. He often wakes up screaming and crying and panicking to the point of hyperventilating and sometimes even literally passing out because of the rapid breathing. He is just sensitive, remembering all of his own flaws and mistakes, which makes it hard for him to play the role of an outgoing Aries. However, certain things do peek through.
For example, Maji is a super passionate soul. Whatever he decides to do, he will do it, come hell or high water, and is in that way very goal oriented. When he wants something, he will go get it or he will die trying, determined and unrelenting. But he is also soft, caring and though he fumbles a lot with his emotions, he does honestly have the best intentions for everyone in mind. He does not really focus on himself at all, instead burying his problems deep in his sub-conscious until they blow up and spill out like cuts from a ripped up torso, he just loses it. Whereas Moto tends to display anger when crossed, Maji does a lot of crying instead, sometimes lashing out if he feels trapped or betrayed, he values nothing more than honesty, so liars and cheats he tries to avoid. But, corner him, and the claws will come out. Maji is very intelligent and knows how to strike others in ways that will kill them almost instantly, but sensitive with a love of life, other animals' lives, not his own, he has only used this knowledge once. Instead, he tends to injure others in specifically chosen non-vital areas. He does not approve of killing for no reason- he has no trouble with hunting of course, lions have to eat but a better example would be the relationship with lions and hyenas. He thinks hyenas are great creatures with so much to teach the world, and he genuinely tries to help and protect them. They're not evil, just misunderstood... kind of how he is.
Likes • Water and swimming | Fish and seafood | Cool nights, sleeping beneath the stars | Listening to stories, vents or problems of others | Being helpful in any way that he can, very self-sacrificing Dislikes • Thunderstorms | Being alone | Being touched by strangers | Being a burden in any way | Himself
History • Maji and Moto were born into a pride well north of the Pridelands, living so far away that they did not even know about it, about Simba and about Scar. They stumbled upon their new lives accidentally after not just leaving their birth pride but actively being chased away, hunted down even, to be slaughtered.
You see, the pride was ruled by a big, somewhat old, but completely disturbed and deranged individual. The male was not Moto or Maji's father, he was a rogue who simply visited the pride from time to time, apparently they had some kind of deal with him that involved him gathering resources for the pride in exchange for some time with one of the pride's lionesses. At first, the alpha male simply allowed this, they needed those resources. But cold hearted and jealous, when the rogue male chose one of his favorite females to covert with, the alpha was furious, and that anger was only exacerbated when it was revealed that the lioness was pregnant. The rogue male was hunted down mercilessly and the alpha male made a promise to the dying lion, who laid on the ground, ganged up on and mutilated before being left to die, that he'd see his bastard children again very soon. It was a loosely veiled threat.
From the moment that they were born, Moto and Maji were targeted by their pride's violent and disgusting alpha. At first, he was just going to kill the cubs, but though he was a heartless bastard, most of the other pride members were reasonable creatures that saw nothing good coming from murdering a pair of newborn cubs. So the cubs were spared for a little while, lionesses standing up for them, guarding them from the cruel beast of an alpha. But the cubs grew quickly and, super sheltered up until that point, they had a penchant for exploring, which is what ended up being their doom. Regularly, the alpha came across them, almost seemed to be searching for them and always encouraged them to do stuff away from the lionesses. He called it "play time", and acted as though they were going to frolic in the grass or roll around in some mud. But what he really was doing... well... Maji bears the scars from it. It was brutal, it was cruel, it was unbearably painful and there was nothing Moto could do to stop it. He was just swatted away.
Though Moto tried to go to the lionesses about it, Maji was the one who was traumatized. He did not think that telling anyone would help anything. If anything, it'd just piss off the alpha even more, which would only make things worse. So he encouraged his brother to be silent, to just forget about it and move on. But it happened again... and again... and again. Maji was a hollow husk of a child by the time they were big enough to fight back. He just kind of laid there while Moto did his best to fight the massive male off of his brother. But of course, they were just cubs, and all it took was a single strike to the head and Moto was unconscious. Though usually calm and mild-mannered, Maji exploded upon seeing his brother hurt and only in that moment found the strength to turn around and face the disgusting old male. He was unable to do any physical damage, but his yelling and distressed brought the other lionesses in the pride to see what was going on and, once they realized what was happening, the females had no tolerance.
The following struggle was severe. Lionesses both agreeing with and horribly disgusted by the male's actions drove a rift through the middle of the pride which became very obvious in that moment of absolutely bloody violence and craziness. There were claws everywhere. Moto took the opportunity to get Maji away from the chaos, first just looking for a place to hide to recover from their wounds but, terrified of being found by their pride's alpha, who was probably furious that the cubs got the best of him. They did not know if he was dead or alive or anything, they just fled, ran together until they could run no more. Maji's injuries were pretty severe and getting him up and moving was tough but they had to, they had to get away.
By the time they reached the Pridelands, the cubs were exhausted and dying, having not stopped for food or water or anything, they just ran. It left Maji with a pretty significant infection and it took a lot of work to heal him physically, but mentally, he's really been messed up by this experience. At first, Moto was rejected by the Prideland's king. Maji could stay until his injuries healed but Moto was healthy beyond a simple scratch to the face, so he was looked at as competition. But Sarabi could not let her son through two young cubs back out into the wild, especially when they revealed that their birth pride might be after them. Simba did not want to endanger his pride by keeping the two cubs around but Sarabi- beautiful, sensitive, and kind- insisted that they be allowed to stay. She became the cubs' main advocate and Maji especially spent a lot of time with her as he healed, feeling safe by her side, the first lion who ever really personally stood up for him, who personally put their neck out to be sure he was safe, healthy and happy.
That was several months ago. The cubs are older now and are very comfortable in the Pridelands, but there is some talk about a particular rogue lion seen scouting the Pridelands and making passes and threats, marking important landmarks to make sure the Pridelanders know that he is around. Though Moto is unafraid, knowing that there was no way they could be tracked to the Pridelands because of the huge distance they had traveled. But when they found out that the interloper was moving south, that he had come from the far north, even Moto has been a little on edge. Maji has been downright inconsolable, rightfully terrified of what might happen should he find them. It's been making him more skittish than usual so he has not really made any friends yet, too preoccupied with his traumatic memories and the threat of more of them to come. But even though Moto is weary of this interloper chatter going on in the pride, he still takes Maji out to make friends and explore and just enjoy the beautiful land that they were so graciously gifted. Though Maji follows his brother, his nervousness is practically tangible.
the FAMILy Father • Basa (deceased) Mother • Abayomi (deceased) Siblings • None that they know of, though it's pretty safe to assume that Zahur fathered other cubs from their mother, half-siblings are very likely out there Mate • None. She was still getting used to eating solid food, still getting used to the idea that her mother was now ten stalls down the row from her rather than being within muzzle reach, and the whole concept of life in this big, bad adult world seemed to hit the leggy filly hard. It was not odd for her to reject her feed every few days or so. But she'd pace, get some exercise the next morning and return that night for dinner sporting a healthy appetite again and all would be well. Not eating for three days straight was a bit odd, even for her and her young jaw, her unground teeth.
That was how the oldest De Luca child found the cremello filly that damp evening- pacing restlessly in her stall, a full bag of oats hanging from the sliding wood door to her stall, still heavy and completely untouched. She was starting to wear a track in the bedding on the floor as well, a perfect oval of kicked sawdust marking every step of her shoed hooves for the past 72 hours, where as all of the other horses, her mother included, stood stock still in the slowly darkening evening air. They probably had never worn tracks in their stalls in their lives. Carson's eyebrows dropped toward his brilliant blue eyes in an expression of deep puzzlement. To be fair, Missy was always a fidgety filly- taking after her sire and sporting boundless amounts of energy, she promised to be an excellent racehorse one of these days. But a healthy amount of energy was also usually accompanied by a crazy appetite, and even when at her most finicky, she'd go maybe six to twelve hours maximum without nibbling on something. This three day stint was unheard of.
Unsure of what else to do, the tallest of the De Luca family used his long strides and well built legs to close the small gap between himself and his favorite horse, casually coming to a stop with his chest leaned against the soggy wooden doorframe. Outside of the stables, the sky was cast over with darkened clouds and a lazy rain fell from the heavens in low, gentle rumbles. But the shingled roof was solid and the thoroughbred paused in her stall to eye the soaking wet figure that now peered at her through the bars, swiveling her ears once or twice curiously before silently walking over to where his hand lay outstretched through the door. Without hesitation, she sniffed and then casually nibbled his extended fingers, tugging on the wet sleeve of his jacket, as though to ask why he'd be foolish enough to come out here in the bad weather. But the werewolf only smiled knowingly at the animal and patted her nose gingerly.
"What's the matter with you? Your favorite rolled oats and you've barely touched 'em."

MOTO the basics Name • Moto ("fire" in Swahili) Nicknames • None really, Moto is short enough Age • Cub Gender • Male Sexuality • Too young to know for sure Pride/Pack • Pridelands Alliance • ends up on Team Simba Position • Too young to know for sure Other • Both he and his brother are Aries, despite having completely different personalities. Moto is the more typical Aries in that he is fiery and energetic, bold and social, but he lacks a little in the empathy department and is clumsy about handling serious situations, especially when other lions and their feelings and such are involved, he's a little self-absorbed • An alpha personality, he tends to be the leader of groups and likes this very much, so when his power is taken away from him, he tends to work hard to get it back, almost like some kind of control freak, he likes to be in charge • Could not be more protective of his smaller brother • Has a tendency to be chronically late to meetings and such things, he does not manage his time well, his brother is helpful in this though and is often the one in charge of getting them places the appearance Species • African Lion Eye Colour • Deep Red Markings & Scars • Has a long jagged series of scars crossing his face and muzzle diagonally Height • Just barely above average Weight • Just barely above average Voice Actor • Corey Feldman as Young CopperBasic Appearance • Moto looks just as fiery as he acts. His coat is a brilliant red brick kind of color, vibrant and saturated without being unattractive. Like most lions, he sports a slightly lighter underside, as well as having light toes and a light muzzle. His face is somewhat remarkable in that way- he has a pronounced jaw, a big chin and a thick muzzle that gives him such an animated and identifiable face. He promises to grow into a very handsome young lion. He is a bit bigger than Maji, his brother and slightly older littermate, but not by much. Though he has the big paws, the strong frame and the sheer resolve to become a monster of a lion, so far he's barely above average in size. In fact, for most of their lives, Maji was the taller one, though he is also super skinny and leggy. Moto is more stout, with shorter legs and bigger paws. Combined with his heavy jaw and big head, he's kind of a pitbull-inspired young man, strong and tough, even if he's not impressively huge, he is still pretty muscular for his age and only promises to grow even more in this manner. His eyes are a brilliant red color, just like the fire he was named after, and his mane is also red, even more red than his coat. The mane is small right now since he is still a youngster, but for a cub of his age, he still has a lot of mane already visible. It appears on his head and trails down his neck to his shoulders, where it stops. It is a bright and brilliant shade of red with a small shock of white hair right at the front. Whether or not that odd discolored portion of the mane is going to grow into a stripe or something, no one really knows. But it does promise to be one interesting looking mane once he is old enough to grow it out. the personality Personality • Your typical Aries, Moto is well known for being a firecracker of a cub. He bores easily and is always looking for ways to stimulate both his mind and his body. Energetic and fun-loving, his favorite thing to do is play fight with other cubs, his heavy frame and thick build giving him the advantage. He can be super competitive, it's very easy to manipulate him into acting just by making it a challenge, something that he can do better and improve upon. Though clumsy and not very coordinated with a limited vocabulary and a lot of questions, Moto is a lot smarter than he lets on. He plays dumb, often when with his brother- Maji is the smaller of the two and is not a good fighter so Moto purposefully let's him take the role of 'brain' to his brother's 'brawn' but that does not mean that Moto is an idiot. Others may think so, which gives him an opening to get in there and mess stuff up in a 'no one expects the Spanish Inquisition' kind of way.
Though he can think and plan, he doesn't really. He has no patience for concepts and ideas and such, and is instead impulsive and very reckless, brave to the point of foolishness and is always completely unwilling to back down, he is a sore loser who holds grudges like they are valuable and one who never walks away from an unfinished fight. So though he does not have the patience to hunt or act out extensive plans or really work with a team, he can and probably would seek revenge until the day that he dies, especially if his target was mean or inappropriate with his brother Maji. Maji is Moto's entire world, the two are best friends and are rarely seen apart from one another, as though they were practically tied together. Moto will do anything to protect Maji from harm and anyone who so much as sneezes on his brother will feel the entirety of his wrath. Conversely, Maji is the only one who can really calm his brother down when his short temper flares up. They are a package deal in almost all instances.
