A quiet rumor had been spread amongst the pride members earlier that day, that anyone that was loyal to Zira and her family should go to the Outlands. They were to talk freely about the various topics that currently plagued most of them. Faraja was unsure as to where her loyalty was anymore, and had decided to go on this midnight stroll. She was pretty sure no one had saw her leave the den, she had left silently almost like a ghost. Letting her cubs behind at the den where she knew they would be kept safe from any outside threat. There were a few lions she hated to betray, mainly her sister in law Sarabi. She had always been kind to her, and they had a pretty close relationship. Faraja was at a loss currently due to her own conflicted heart. She had loved both of her brothers and this was no easy time for her. Keeping her profile on the low she made her way to the Outlands in no time.
Each time she had to step across that boundary it became much easier to do. She didn't even flinch as she left the Pride Lands behind. She kept up the pace moving like a shadow, wanting to get to the meeting place in good time. They had decided to meet at the massive termite mound that was in the center of the Outlands. It was tucked away from the border so no one would see what was going on. The huge mound overlooked the barren land around it, making her feel small and completely out of place.
Faraja came to a stop, glancing around to see who else had already arrived here.

Nuka hated they had to come all the way out here. The Outlands, like any sane lion, were not his ideal place for any reason or other. Nuka had almost been opposed to going when his mother had set up the meeting there, away from prying eyes. And that was perhaps the only reason he finally conceded about the idea to himself, convenience of not being heard or seen.
But, the reddish tan teenager had to keep such doubts to himself. He knew his mother likely wouldn’t approve of his questioning, simply wisely holding his tongue until that night came. Once it did, he had slipped away after warrior training that evening towards the Outlands. The benefit of not being taken seriously sometimes had its perks. Most would not be concerned with him being gone, or trying anything overly reckless. If anything, Nuka could seem to slip away or back at any point, making up just about anything most of the larger males seemed none too concerned about. “Bunch of idiots is what they are.” He snickered to himself as he casually crossed the border, worried not for someone seeing him since most of them were no where near the border yet. The night patrollers had yet to leave, giving him a window to slip by.
Soon enough, the young male had found himself at the termite mounds, shuddering as he saw a few fluttering about. “Yuck...” Trying to ignore the small insects, Nuka approached an empty area, coming to settle down in a spot he could see everything happening to keep an eye out for those who decided to join. They wanted everyone loyal to his mother to be there to hear everything after all.

Iniko heard whispers. At first she had wanted to dismiss them as such as rumors or even gossip. But still she was intrigued as to what Zira was going to do. Soon she noticed a handful of lions were missing from the Pridelands, one here or there, not enough to cause that much of a concern. Surely it wouldn't have bothered them too much,. After Iniko was done with her Shaman duties she slipped away hoping to see some faces she was familiar with. She was tired. So tired of what was going on there and treating her like she wasn't a princess. Surely the outlands would be a better place?
Iniko had only ever seen the Outlands from afar, but she knew this would be a good experience to see what was going to become of Zira and her followers. She took the path down the pridelands following the grass were other lions had gone before. She walked carefully as her heart beat nervously in her chest a little bit nervous at the same time. Finally she approached it seeing how different the Outlands looked. There was no grass only dirt that covered the area and soon arrived with the rusty colored sand. This place looked just as sad as the Elephant Graveyard, maybe even a little bit worse.
It would be another long trip before she made it to the Termite Mounds as she spotted a couple of lions further up ahead as she rolled her eyes. Of course it had to be Nuka And the other lioness she didn't know who she was but it was best to make their acquaintances soon.
"Oh dear... I hope Zira's got something interesting for us. I don't know if you've got anything interesting about this meeting Nuka?" Iniko said having recalled encountering him a couple of times. She found a satisfying rock to sit on that hadn't been claimed by one of the termites just yet. "This place has seen better days..." She muttered waiting for the other lions to come. She hoped she'd see Amari at least she was the only one that she felt comfortable around. And she did have to admit he was right about saying yuck about the termites.

It was about time.
Tova had felt the time was coming when this schism in the pride would eventually reach its boiling point. There were fights always breaking out, claws unsheathing, harsh words exchanged, yet no blood had been spilled. Not yet anyway. But the tension was becoming obvious, pushing to a point relationships in the pride were being affected. Once close knit friends and groups were becoming suspicious and uneasy, always side-eyeing and throwing accusations around. Personally, Tova had found it incredibly amusing, simply watching or occasionally starting up a rumor or two to stir up the craziness. Everything else was boring now with Simba in charge, might as well make some waves somehow.
Now, the time had finally come. The cedar brown lioness trekked her way away from Pride Rock towards the Outlands, strolling right over the border without a care compared to most of the rest. She didn’t particularly care if she was caught or scented later, she was eager to get to this meeting and see what was up. The destination was also a little ways into the desert, so she was trying to make haste to get there before she would miss anything.
Of course, as Tova arrived she already spotted a few familiar faces, two of which were considered former royalty. Or were they even more so if they decided to take their own territory? Oh well, she didn’t particularly care either way as she found a spot close to the mounds and crouched. For once, Tova did not speak, merely trying to maintain a neutral expression, but it was difficult to stop from grinning breaking out when they finally may be making their move against Simba.

Earlier that day she had heard the whispered rumors that they were supposed to meet at the Termite Mounds. She had been anxiously waiting all day to sneak away from the watchful eyes of her mother. Things had been progressively becoming more hostile as of late, and at any moment it felt almost like a bomb could go off. Even the hunting parties were having a hard time providing the pride was adequate food, fights had even broken out during the hunt. Which in turn was making them all hungry, and with hunger came harsher feelings. A part of her was surprised that neither one of the royal couple had addressed the issue. Instead it would seem like they were content to ignore it for as long as possible. Receiving word from Zira that they were to meet up had put it all into place. She knew that things were going to change soon.
Amari had taken her moment to leave when her mother had been pulled away for some reason or another. She made sure to walk casually so she wouldn't cause anyone to notice her leaving. Hell, she even walked towards the watering hole first. She took her time getting a nice long drink before taking a smaller path towards the outlands. It didn't take much time for her to find the border and to move across it. As of late she had been spending more time here then at home. At least here she could be herself without being judged by the lions around her. It didn't take her long to find the massive termite mounds.
As she approached she noticed who had arrived so far. She noticed her aunt Faraja, who was the only sister her father had. Along with Nuka which made sense, the first born son of their late King. She also noticed another lioness lounging in the shadows and her sister Iniko. First she gave a slight bow of the head towards her aunt before she moved to sit beside her twin sister. Amari nudged her softly and licked her cheek in greeting before her green eyes took in the group around her.
She knew more would come, as would Zira at some point. Amari just hoped that this meeting would start something, The beginning of something great.

Uzuri had been living in the Pridelands and the brown lioness had heard the rumors, too. That something was brewing in the outlands. She had gotten word from another one of Zira's followers, as she was curious about it. Uzuri had quickly summed it up that the Pridelands had caused her nothing but grief at the loss of her parents that hadn't been that long. She wanted better opportunity a better life for herself. That was the soul reason for driving her to the outlands, to find out what was going on there. Curiosity over took the lioness as she began to follow the others to the spot where the occurrence was going to happen. The brown lioness soon left the safety of the borders of the Pridelands not so much caring if her life would be in dangerous paws. She would face danger when it came and probably give it a laugh or two along the way.
She left the lush Pridelands behind, promising to tell her sisters about what was going on here. She knew that they would be very curious to see what happened. Next time, she promised she'd bring them along. But it was better safe than sorry, some lionesses would have to stay behind to make it not look obvious that something was going on. Uzuri would have to walk alone. But she didn't seem to mind it all that much. She was happy to get some quiet time, even if it was for a short amount of time.
It wasn't long before she found the termite mounds as she saw the bugs walking to and fro from their site as they were looking for their next tasty meal. The bugs didn't bother her that much. It was more so they lived together and shared the same home. They were more of a nuisance than anything. "I finally made it." She said seeing other lionesses that she had spotted from time to time in the Pridelands. She saw the two princesses and as well as the prince Nuka. Along with two other unfamiliar faces she didn't recognize. It was about to begin. She knew something was going to happen soon. Uzuri found a brown patch of dirt to rest on as she sat facing the other lions and waited patiently for something to happen.
"And so it begins." She said softly being a bit of a quiet lioness. All ears waiting on Zira to start.
