Tau had been out that morning near the lake practicing some of his warrior like moves with some of the other males. Even though he was not from this pride originally. He knew that he had to be there for some time. He wondered what it was going to be like to try and understand to be a pridelander. He knew about the Circle of Life. That was going to be interesting for sure. The sun was high in the sky making it a little bit hotter than normal. Still Tau didn't mind. Tau's mind was more on the fighting as his fur felt hot and wet since he had been practicing. Not to mention some of the other lions probably looked dirty from rolling around and wrestling in the dirt.
"Alright Tau you can go ahead and fight Ashante over here." The warrior said as he showed Tau to come over to see what was going on. Tau saw that he was going up towards another male that was about his size and his height. He went over as the two males tussled and wrestled on the ground. He couldn't see what was going on as the dust and dirt settled. It looked like Tau had gotten the upper hand and he was on top.
"I got you this time." Tau said with a smile. "It must be the mountain air I get an advantage." He said with a chuckle before releasing Ashante as the brown lion could go clean himself up and sulk a bit more.
"Ok I will let you guys take a break from training a bit that was very good for everyone who participated." The warrior elder said as Tau went straight to the water that was next to the lake. He gladly took a drink and felt himself get cooled off. He knew that was going to be good and good news for him. He gladly accepted the rest as he went back towards the other warriors who were lounging about and resting.
