Basic Appearance • Mheetu is a mix of his mother and father. He has the nice cream tawny coat of Sarafina and as well as her green eyes. Mheetu is a bit smaller than Simba in size since he had a rough start in life. He has cream colored paw pads and as well as brown mane that he got from his father. His nose is a soft pink color and muzzle is a soft cream the same color as his paw pads. his mane hasn't fully grown in yet but it will be rather impressive. 

the personality

Personality • Mheetu is a kind hearted lion he seems to have survived the odds. One word to sum up some of Mheetu's personality is that he is a survivor having survived near death as a cub and then Scar's reign he takes nothing for granted. He is very loyal for his family of Sarafina, his older sister Nala and her side of the family with a niece and a nephew. Mheetu is very kind and charismatic as he tries to help others and believes in the traditions of the Circle of Life. Mheetu is still very naïve, and has a lot to learn. He can be a bit impatient and sarcastic towards others he doesn't like or trust like Zira's group of lions. Mheetu is also known to be a bit of a worry wart as he worries about even the littlest things.

History • Mheetu was born to a mystery male lion (Who's name will be posted later), and is the second born to Sarafina and younger brother to Nala. Mheetu was born in the time of Scar's reign towards the beginning as Scar wanted nothing to do with the tawny cub. One it wasn't his cub, and two the cub was so frail he thought it wasn't going to be worth it in the end. Scar quickly ignored Sarafina and told her to get rid of the sick cub. Sarafina didn't have the heart to do that with the cub as she took care of the cuband spent many days with Rafiki to try to nurse him back to health. Rafiki had stayed with the cub until his eyes opened and saw that there was a glimmer of hope.

Once Mheetu had been weaned, she made sure that he got extra care always sneaking extra food to him to eat to make sure that he would be strong one day and be on his own. He was left with the cub sitters and he grew up in a changing world. The Pridelands soon turned to dust, bones rotted around him and the lionesses were slowly starving because the hyenas ate everything. It wasn't a world a cub should live in, but Mheetu had no choice. HE didn't know any other ways to live.

Then one day Mheetu woke up after being nudged by Nala to say good bye. He felt so upset by this he felt tears swell up in his eyes. Nala quickly shushed him not to tell a soul or even Sarafina knew not where she was going. She went to go hunt that night and get some help. Nala didn't return for some time. Months passed, Mheetu was growing up in his teen years as he was frail but Sarafina wouldn't give up on her son. She shielded him from Scar tried to keep him innocent. One day Scar saw the cub playing in the nearby watering hole as he was pouncing on the mice and rodents that lived near it. Scar thought one day he could make use of Mheetu and become a warrior. But Sarafina quickly got him distracted on another subject. Scar approached Mheetu when he was alone and his mother was hunting, telling him of the lion guard and how great they were. Mheetu learned how to train and fend for himself learning the basics of how to be a warrior. Scar tried to fill his head with seeds of evil but it wouldn't work. As Sarafina would make sure it wouldn't happen. 

Sarafina soon had a litter of twin girls with Scar as they would be his younger siblings Iniko and Amari as he loved them none the less. But this point in time things were starting to change.


That was when Nala returned with the one thing that would change here. Mheetu saw Simba arrive as the lionesses soon came to his aid siding with him. Mheetu had believed like the others that Simba was dead. But he had been in the jungle that whole time living there. Once the rally of the lionesses were heard from the hyenas. Mheetu had no choice but to fend for himself as he fought tooth and claw beside his mother and sister, now understanding where his loyalties lied. He soon saw Scar get killed by the hyenas, as Simba could ascend the throne at that moment in time.

Slowly over time the Pride Lands returned to their former glory as Mheetu felt safe. Mheetu is now a young adult. But he doesn't like the idea of Zira's group being here. He doesn't trust them. Yet he knew he had know say towards them. He could just watch by his mother's side making sure they looked over their shoulder and protect themselves. Mheetu now wants to go on the path of a warrior as he is certainly ready for it. He will make sure that his family is safe no matter what. Mheetu is now a young adult.

roleplay Sample

Mheetu's tawny pelt and green eyes could be seen within the cave as the teenager was resting by his mother's sleeping body. Something touched his nose gently as his whiskers felt it move and he batted at it again figuring it was just his mother's movement. "Time to get up my deer. It is early and I have to go hunt." His mother said as Mheetu let out a yawn as he didn't want to move from the spot. Light flickered down from the main cave as the lions were still asleep. That is almost everyone except for the huntresses up who were going to leave early to make sure Scar had some food on the table and the other lioness's had to get some food also.

"Mom! Do I have to get up, and go play with the cub sitters? I want to be with you!" He complained as Sarafina looked over towards her and nudged her only son.

"I'll be back to play, Mheetu. I always keep my promises." She said nudging Mheetu gently as he nodded his eyes just half barely open by that.

"Ok. I believe you. Good luck on the hunt. Mom." Mheetu said as he watched the lioness's leave as he peered out of the mouth of the cave to get one last glance to see where his mother was going to go. He knew hunting was hard work, sometimes the lioness' often came back with injuries that were certainly bad. They would have to go back to Rafiki to make sure they got taken care of. Once Sarafina was out of sight, Mheetu felt alone. He knew his sisters were still asleep. He pawed his way over to one of their bodies as he felt the warmth of Iniko and Amari. Though they were half sisters, it didn't really matter to him. Blood and family were still loyal, right?

Mheetu fell asleep for a few hours, as someone else started to wake up as he slid off of them, falling on the floor. The teen realized that his siblings were awake. "Heay do you guys want to play by the watering hole today?" He asked his siblings as they gave him a yes. He was eager to see if their mother had returned. As they went down towards the watering hole a couple of animals had gathered there. But Mheetu wasn't too conerned this was a safe place as far as he was concerned. Bones were scattered in the opening part of the mouth of the cave left by the hyenas. Yet the cub sitters had a watchful eyes on the cubs as he saw one of the lionesses nearby as they were making sure no one messed with them.

Mheetu felt a pit of worry hit his stomach again as he realized his mother hadn't returned in the last few hours. Maybe they were having trouble trying to hunt? Maybe things weren't going according to plan? Mheetu thought the worst as he tried not to show it in front of his sisters. THey were already so much stronger than he was. He tried to keep up with the other cubs as they played along the bank of the watering hole. 'She always comes back.' Mheetu thought. 'She must come back soon.. Maybe they just got held up?' he asked looking at himself as he was soon covered in mud. Yet his thoughts were far off from the muddy water hole as they were on the only parent that he had left.
